You might also look at your work schedule. I've recently become aware of the fact that the tasks that seem to come up during the morning are the ones that are outside of my "sweet spot" from a personality perspective. When those occupy my morning and spend zero time doing things that give me life I end up wiped by lunch regardless of diet or exercise.

That's a good point. When you're really excited about doing something or find it very engaging, it normally does not matter how tired you might be. I say normally here because there are truly times where you are just too wiped out to even do what you enjoy.

It's a one off issue we have. We have all 50+ Sites running of an MPLS, if something happens and we need BT to look at a line issue then we are subject to OpenReach SLA's. So while they are down most stores have monitored CCTV on a separate BB line, so we use this as a temp VPN connection to a Draytek here that is on a different sub net range to my VM infrastructure. So when they are using the VPN and the route has been changed on the Core switch zabbix can't ping the MPLS Cisco router as the route now goes through the Draytek. So I need to static the route through the MPLS router so zabbix tells me the connection is up once BT have visited.

My parents had some serious flooding. We have pictures from one of their neighbors on a kayak going through the streets. It's really crazy.

Thankfully they only have to gut one room of their house and repair the siding and sheathing ~3 feet up the front of the house.

We are on an island so we were really worried about storm surge. We got some flooding from it, but luckily we are in a high area of the island so our house wasn't affected. I do know quite a few people that were under water. It certainly wasn't as bad as Harvey in my area though.

My parent's house is up just above Daytona. A1A held up this year thankfully so they were able to get to it when the water receded. They had power, oddly, before the storm surge went back out.

So weird that the east coast was affected so much by this storm. We were preparing for the worst when we thought it was going to hit the east coast, but honestly I relaxed a little bit when I saw it was going to make landfall on the west coast. Irma was so strong and her reach was so great that no one was really out of her rage.

@irj I know there were some rafting places that took people rafting in the area. My honeymoon was in January so they, of course, weren't operating. I didn't think it was that cold, to be honest, and probably would have been fine in a boat on a river or lake, maybe not rafting.

This entire season was so sloppy. If I weren't so invested I'd stop watching.

It's now a show with books written about it, rather than a show from books. That might be a big factor.

So they have an insane amount of references they can use instead of having to create the entire show from scratch? George R. R. Martin even gave them every major plot point. Wouldn't that make their job that much easier?

Who is "they" here? GRRM writes the show.

According to IMDB he's written 4 episodes and those were in early seasons.

As far as writing the screenplays, yeah. But my understanding is that he's still writing the actual show.

I'm pretty sure he is in a supervisory position at best.

Correct, it does not. Your observation is irrelevant to that decision.
If she felt like a victim, she's have reported it. Did she? If not, she was placating you. Maybe she felt you were harassing her and wanted to make you happy. We don't know. What we know is... only she can decide if she might be a victim.
Being uncomfortable around someone is not being a victim. My wife is uncomfortable going into restaurants because of all the people. She is not a victim. Even if they come up and talk to her, which also makes her visibly uncomfortable.
You are using lots of descriptions that make it sound one way, but when you actually read what you are saying, we can't know if anything bad happened. Did he make an advance? Doesn't sound like it. Did he do anything that isn't culturally normal in a lot of cultures? Doesn't sound like it. Sexual harassment is a specific thing, and nothing you describe is enough to know if that happened and her feeling like it happened isn't enough, either.

+100 on this, also +1 for making me learn a new word (placating)

Dude @wirestyle22 you want to see "Victims" come to MSFF Mowasah Hosptial In Marka Amman Jordan (Facial Reconstruction unit), I will show you victims, you wont belive what will you see, mostly children, and this is after one or two operations already done, and I dont understand how they can be happy or smile. they didnt choose to have their half face wiped, and dont get me started on tissue expander ball that they put in their faces and how they impant shit in different places in there faces and body so it can grow to remove them later and place it back...

Victim you say, she has rights and rules and she can lawsuit... pfff so what if she gets fired. better to have pride and use her rights.. what rights do those kids have, what future do they have left. If you live in good country and you have propper rights already established and applies to you and your not using them= your not victim, your just naive.

    From Stephanie Leo!

I am writing you this message with tears and sorrow and I know this mail may come to you as a surprise, I am Stephanie Leo. The only daughter. My father was a very wealthy cocoa merchant in Abidjan Ivory Coast (Cote Ivoire) my father was poisoned to death by his business associates on one of their outings on a business trip.

My mother died when I was a baby and since then my father took me so special. Before the death of my father in a private hospital here in Abidjan he secretly called me on his bed side and told me that he has the sum of (7,500000.00) seven million five Hundred thousand US Dorella, left in fixed / suspense account in one of the international bank here in Abidjan, he used my name as his only daughter for the next of Kin in depositing of the fund. My late father instructed me to seek for a foreign partner in a country of my choice where I will transfer this money and use it for investment purpose such as real estate management or hotel management.

I am honorably seeking for your assistance in the following ways:(1) To provide a bank account in which this money would be transferred to .(2) To serve as my guardian.(3) To make arrangement for me to come over to your country to further my education.

Note: I am willing to offer you 20% of the total sum as compensation for your effort/ input after the successful transfer of this fund to your nominated bank account. Anticipating hearing from you soon.please contact me through my private email (stephanieloe201@-removed-)

These things really make me wish for a way to have a fake bank account that could track these schemes.

No make problems good Sir! Kindly send your five Hundred thousand US Dorella, me take care of best goodly!

At a previous job we rolled out Ubiquiti APs on one site since they were so inexpensive just as test to see if we could move to a controller based system. After the second AP failed of the three we purchased we went with a Ruckus system despite the increased cost. We chose to spend a bit more for apparent reliability.

That said, for my current job I've chosen to do a test deployment of UBNT hardware.

Weird - where did you buy them from? Failures do happen, but 2 out of 3 failing.. that's pretty bad.

I deployed UAPs (22 and no failures) and it has worked flawlessly for me for 8 months so far.

This was 2012-2013 time frame, so given the average experience I'm not knocking them off the list permanently.

They were off of Amazon. From UBNT iirc.

The ERL in 2012/2013 was iffy. But not the basic UAP. interesting experience.

This seems like a possible solution using time conditions. It would involve User 5, the floating user, to log in and out of the appropriate queue. Would also require configuring two queues and three ring groups, rather than one queue, and one ring group. On the positive side (for the users), Users 1-4, wouldn't have to do anything.
    0_1501857389933_fc549211-bd97-4081-8d1d-801f31c45458-image.png

That is a decent flow with only a single user interaction needed.

You can program a BLF for each queue on that users phone to log in and out of the queue, so they will have positive visual confirmation that they are in the queue or not.

    *451111*2222
    Where 1111 = Queue# and 2222 = Ext#

I was testing this today. In order for me to get it to work, I had to make 1111 the extension number and 2222 the queue number.

Maybe I typed it backwards? I did not log into a system to verify that.

FFS what are you doing helping people 😛

Jared's FreePBX words are so authoritative, I honestly though I must've had a config problem causing me to have to use his command backwards. 😄

Yeah, I wonder where I was responding from that day.

Because I just took a whole 60 seconds to SSH into a PBX and check..
