It's purely a LAN based device. It can work, but you really need to understand where it's limit is.

@thwr You could also just rent another identical server with Hetzner. When you have moved everything over you can terminate the first one. It unlikely that the second server has problems as well.

Will only cost you roughly 200 euros to do it.

Almost all Ubiquiti equipment come with outdate firmware by 2 or 3 months or more at times.

My most recent one, from four weeks ago, was still 1.2.

I've never had an ERL shipped to me with anything other than 1.2

Not sure what my switches came with Probably were 1.0. The GUI totally changed after updating them.

Jokes aside, Mailcow works very well and the author's support is awesome; this one I use and recommend.
I would say that Mailcheap's web site has lots of information, but that's me. I don't use it as I host my own email (besides using Office 365/G Suite/others depending on the client). I just seemed to me that it checked all @thwr needs while being recommended by people I trust.

+1 one for Macrium Reflect as the best easy way to go about it (I've had some unsuccessful Clonezilla attempts before). In my experience with Acronis, you can't cherry pick partitions (like the OEM recovery partition) at clone time, but you can with Macrium Reflect.

Just tried it one more time and after 20 minutes it suddenly showed the first installer dialog.

It's just a requirement for us. But yes, your points are valid. 12TB uncompressed per tape isn't that bad. I was looking for an upgrade because 1.5TB for LTO-5 isn't exactly what fits todays capacities.

We can't use cloud backup, hasn't been approved for us yet. So the capacity of the LTO-8 tapes is what we like.

A few friends and I were talking about doing this.

I can highly recommend the Anycubic I3 Mega. I do have access to quite a few printers, incl. Ultimaker 2/3 Extended, BigReps and others. The Anycubic is outstanding given the price and at least compareable to the Ultimaker IMHO. Great results, good build quality, no open wires like other cheap printers.

Sure, but I don't really consider that the same as Visio. That's like saying that notepad is the same as Word, one is a in general basic visual diagram solution, the other is an imbedded data mine with GUI to the data.

I've never asked for Visio or similar tools but everyone's way to document their cables and devices 🙂

lol I guess you did... but I don't know of many (any off hand) that have an interactive documentation solution like this.

I know Spiceworks has a thing that kinda does this - but it sucks pretty bad and offers little if any ability to edit it to be more accurate.

UniFi routers and switches, yes. UniFi Access Points, are solid for any purpose.

Also, I would personally never use UniFi routing/switching in SMB. But I know some people just live that pretty pane of glass that they never look at after 3 weeks.

for these particular models or in general? I use routerboards a lot (from smallest up to CCR1009) and it never failed. I don't know for 1036 and 1072.

I don't know a specific model right now, just rumors I've heard here and there
