Not all stress is bad... nor is too much stress good. You have to know your body and mind. When you feel like stress has become too much... then you take a break and listen to your mind / body. (I usually know about a week a head of time beofre I get sick).

A vacatoin day can do wonders.

I am actually just getting to work today since my son had tubes put in his ears this morning. Everything went well, and he was hanging from the ceiling fans when I left the house. (I think the docs gave him a shot of adrenaline or something, lol).

    • RE: Standing up a new site - your thoughts

The Samba Wiki mentions that DFS-R isn't implemented yet (I believe this is what 2012 ans 2012R2 use for replicating SYSVOL, etc...

That's not to say that you couldn't replicate it by other means though...

@Dashrender If you are familiar enough with Linux, you can use SAMBA on your favorite Linux distro as an additional AD server, and you can configure DNS and DHCP on it free as well. (It will even handle GPO).

I'm not sure if it works with DFS or not, however.

@MattSpeller... (Read this in a newscaster's voice): And in other news, an IT Employee was found dead next to a user's desk with an apparent grin on his face. Oh wait. This Just In: IT Employee was found nearly dead. He has been transported to a nearby hospital and awaiting diagnosis from doctors.

If AT&T works so would Circket as well as straight talk. ST is an MVNO on AT&T and Verizon (for CDMA). Circket is a MVNO fully owned by AT&T and operates on the AT&T network.

You would think that would be the case... but around here Cricket and T-Mobile have horrible reviews. (And this is coming from customers local to this area).

It was so dangerous for me to use and worked so poorly that I removed it from my phone. It felt like it was going to be good but once I used it for a bit I realized that it was dangerous and poor. I took it off my phone completely to keep my wife from opening it and making me upset. I found it mostly unusable, the interface was just terrible.

Are you talking about Waze? What is dangerous about it? I can't speak to the Windows Phone version, but the Android version has always been pretty good.

@scottalanmiller If you enjoy not having signal, then I agree! T-Mobile has a really bad rap around here. So does Straight Talk & Cricket.

AT & T is supposedly good as well as Verizon... but I've been with verizon a number of years and they have always done me right. I don't mind paying for a service that works. Even if it is one of (if not) the most expensive.

@dafyre If you can get Verizon, you don't have to fork out the $$ for the phone up front... You can pay for it over a couple of years and then upgrade again at 18 months if you want.

@Dashrender If you are using Windows Phone 8/8.1, check and see if Waze is available (I think it is)... I've used that for a while. It's really cool.

I got the Note 4 and love it . I take notes with it, as well as draw (well doodle... I love to doodle, lol). It is generally fast -- even though I keep it on PowerSave mode all the time (habbit from my note 3, lol).

I don't think the FutureFone is viable though, to many engineer nightmares to overcome with that ambitious idea.

I think it is a very ambitious idea! That's part of the reason I like it. I do think you are right though, there's a lot of ways it could go very, very, even spectacularly badly, lol.

I'd still like to get my hands on the kit for a day or two even if it is just to get the Good, the Bad, and the Broken.

@thecreativeone91 What is that phone that is the one where everything is a module? I don't think it is out on the market yet... '

I wouldn't mind triyng the Futurefone from IdealFuture (http://www.idealfuture.com) one of these days... maybe after my Note 4 dies.

@thecreativeone91 Being deaf, my phone is how you reach me. (regardless of if it is email, text messages, chat, whatever). I need a device that works, and works right. Generally Samsung has done well for me (I had one of their old Windows CE Phones, then something else, and then a Droid Eris... then back to Samsung for my last 2 phones.

@scottalanmiller If I were to exclude the Note 3 (that was just a crappy phone), it works out pretty good for me. I won't need a new phone in 2 years if this Note 4 holds up... in which case, I use it until it breaks. Then a buy the next one up the totem pole when mine dies.

I actually got bit by the Note 3 for the very reason that makes you wait and get last gen hardware when you upgrade. Last gen hardware has been tested and generally approved or marked as "do not buy"
