@scottalanmiller Yeah because having to constantly watch your back for other players adds a ridiculous amount of stress! Hah...Makes me think of my World of Warcraft days.

I don't mind that stuff, it's the online stuff... I don't have time to commit, and want to make sure that I can play the game 20 years from now kind of thing.

      YES exactly, great point.
Eh and I didn't mind either, aside from the couple of times I was ganked for several hours. Though that sort of thing was and is few and far between.
      Heh and they got theirs.

No Man's Sky is now my to exploration and building game.

I heard they fixed that game but the price point was too high for me to consider it. Probably on a sale.

Fired up the game again, "Your video card is not supported or drivers are not installed" something like that.
      I thought, oh no problem.

Did you allow Ubuntu to deploy third party packages during the install process? It should have picked up the Nvidia stuff at that time.

Yes! I followed what you said and ticked the box.
It sucks, I tried really hard and for a long while to get this going.
I'm disappointed, but I'll get this working eventually. It's just on my main computer so...I wanted to play some Warhammer badly haha.

He's addicted to hating it πŸ™‚

well I got that, hah but there's nothing wrong with fireball -

There is a lot wrong with it

it's cheap and if you drink enough you can get drunk .
      What's the problem?

Then you should eat Haggis because if you eat it you will not starve to death πŸ˜„

      Quality matters

I mean, If that was all that was around sure i'd eat it- I have no clue what it is but, ya know.

I am going to mail you Haggis. Let me know what you think

Just send them off to Dash

Liesl and I watched Akira last night.

Great movie. I just introduced Laura to it last weekend. One anime movie each weekend. This is what we've done so far in no real order:

      • Akira
      • Princess Mononoke
      • Redline
      • Garden of Words
      • Spirited Away
      • My Neighbor Totoro
      • Ninja Scroll
      • Howl's Moving Castle
      • Ponyo

Trying to pick ones that are easier to get into. Ninja scroll was a tough watch for her so I needed to scale it back a bit.

Really enjoyed The Mandalorian. Nice to see such a high quality show. I wasn't going to watch it but my friend convinced me to.

The first episode was pretty good - but I was super sad to see a filler episode for number 2 - it didn't do anything for the storyline that I can tell. Sure it still looked good - showed that this Mando can basically be hit by a Rhino and amazingly somehow not die, etc.

I suppose we learned one thing - when the Mando was saved.. but really - who didn't see that coming?

Yeah I think there is some merit there. It gave us more of an understanding of his personality though and how he works through things. It was nice to see that he isn't good at everything too.

I'm curious if they'll do any real work developing him in regards to the really dumb choices he made. I am hopeful that this series will be more like Rogue One in story telling and less like TLJ. But only hopeful.

We're on the same page for sure

More like D2 or PoE. The interesting aspect is that you can combine two classes, like rogue + mage or rune + defender.

To be fair Titan Quest doesn't hold a candle to PoE. No hack n' slash really does. Before POE it was an incredible interpretation of the genre though. Thoroughly enjoyed it

haha, no, absolutely not. PoE is a hell of a game with the most complex skill tree ever.

Yeah it's really insane what they have done and over the years it has just gotten better. What a rarity

My bad: Path of Exile, really worth it. Free 2 Play without Pay 2 Win. You can only buy chest space, character slots and cosmetics, but nothing that makes you more powerful in any way.

I get it, I do, it's just such a long grind. Even worse than WoW. .

It's 100% worse than WoW in that regard. I am playing classic and I basically raid 1 day a week. The rest of the time I'm playing other games

What made me stop playing PoE was trading. It's fun, but it starts to become actual work at some point. Eventually, we gifted everything to friends. Hundreds of Ex (Exalted Orbs) and items worth a few thousand Ex πŸ™‚

Yeah you really need to understand the economy but it's very interesting. They clearly knew what they were doing when they designed it and every system in the game really
