Seems like ZFS needs a ton of RAM.

You have to configure it 😉

Isn't that the same thing you said about Proxmox? Now you're the biggest Proxmox fan like your having a love affair with it or something. Maybe FreeNAS would be the same way.

@scottalanmiller What’s your storage configuration like?

I’ve been playing with it on ZFS Raid 1 mirror. Proxmox OS and VMs all on same mirror. Performance is “OK”. Not as good as MD with same setup though.

Wonder if it’s better to create separate Raid 1 ZFS pools. One for the Proxmox OS and one for the VMs.

Did you configure ZFS correctly? https://pve.proxmox.com/wiki/ZFS_on_Linux#_limit_zfs_memory_usage What drives are you using?

Typically we see engineers cap out around $225K. But admins head closer to $500K.

I am making much less then that as an engineer. You have opened my eyes. Do you have some links you could share of jobs in that salary range?

Yeah. I'm only about $435K away from max as an administrator 😛

How do you prove that the person in question sent the messages? They came from their phone, sure... But proving they sent them is another matter all together.

All good solutions for iOS require an intermediary server and push notifications similar to how Bria works.

      Is Bria good?

    • iOS Sip Client?

Using Linphone on Android which works great.

Seems like iOS doesn't like to let things run in the background, so you don't get incoming calls. If you launch the app, it connects right away, but after closing it, it disconnects.

Anyone know of a good iOS SIP client?
