Using Linphone on Android which works great.

Seems like iOS doesn't like to let things run in the background, so you don't get incoming calls. If you launch the app, it connects right away, but after closing it, it disconnects.

Anyone know of a good iOS SIP client?

Nope - I used Zoiper with their $1/m registration solution - still didn't work worth a damn.

Linphone also didn't always stay connected on Android either. Once Android went to sleep (black screen) it frequently wouldn't ring for us.

I found SIP clients on mobile devices to be completely unreliable.

And now is the time where JB tells me I'm full of crap and to use ABC client and it will be wonderful. 🙂

I found the ZoIPer push notification thing to work decent. Certainly not wonderful though.

There are no good cheap solutions for iOS. All good solutions for iOS require an intermediary server and push notifications similar to how Bria works.

                Also expensive.

I've had a couple clients use the GrandStream GS Wave softphone on their iphones. It's free and can run in the background on iOS.

Scott had me using Zoiper for years. Paid and free work as advertised. What issue do you get?
