Pretty much, yeah. Some folks like using Explorer, other folks like tools like Midnight Commander, et al.

How easy is it to revert to stock Windows explorer after test driving another one?

These are separate apps. You have to run them yourself. They don't take over that I'm aware of.

It certainly could though and may have the option to, because there are API hooks and also, at least I recall in Windows 2000 (may still be true) registry entries to change both the shell (explorer) and the file navigation explorer.

I wrote both shell and file explorer replacements for Windows 98 and also NT 4.0 Workstation and 2000, then I lost interest. I basically was just trying (and succeeded) to force Windows to act like Blackbox when I had to do Windows development.

So she'll be allowed to drive while in prison potentially?

yep : she's eligible for parole in 10 years though...
so if she gets parole, then she'll go 5 years without being able to drive, and have to pay a huge fine.

I'd be sure to go to her hearing in 10 years, if nothing else than to support your friend while he explains that she gets to keep her life and his father doesn't.

Edit: and to avoid any sort of potential debate here about the death penalty, I don't really care if people disagree with me, because I'm not in power, I don't vote, and it doesn't matter what I believe because I can't fix problems within the American justice system and neither can you,... well maybe, if you are American and vote I guess. Feel free to disregard me as the shell shocked aging man I am; that's not even a joke.

I know, I was being ironic, because tips don't count as zakat and even if they did, it's not really giving if you expect praise in return by talking about how giving you are. I do donate money to charity though.

Forced? no - as @Obsolesce (I think) was saying - he never tips (I assume that's what you mean by a service charge). It's typically not required -but FULLY expected.

My mother was a waitress. It doesn't matter to me if the food was garbage -- I can't blame them for that, as long as the waiter/waitress was polite and put up with me. I typically give 50% tips to men, 100% to women, and a few times I've gone up to 1,000%. I also tip pizza delivery guys 100% and a few times one repeat deliveries they've brought me "free" stuff.

I realise this is unrealistic for most people, but I'm also attempting to covertly buy my way out of hell.

No, that's a UK thing I thought, they add it, but nowhere I am aware in the US does that at all, just the total and you optionally tip.

Oh man, the warning sign is no pricing and them wanting you to contact them, that means they just want to know how much they can rip you off and I can't believe anyone ever falls for it.
