That goes to their laptop offering at $99. Which looks way nicer.

Break glass for emergency shared accounts. Keep the shared account info in a locked safe or even a safety deposit box. Some place that you know if it is accessed.

That's great. Let's hope that they are able to acquire some oversight and get some control. I hope that someone can prosecute that guy.

House of Cards was 5 or 6 season before it got cancelled.

Hard to tell with that one, might have been cancelled early due to Kevin Spacey's involvement.

@WrCombs oh I believed you. It might be worth it's own topic.

I've never seen this occur personally. I've had timezone issues in the past. Usually much older systems. But I've not experienced this.

It's crazy. I dont understand it.

Going to change the account policy and see if it's somebody is doing it.

Is it on the domain? Is the DC time correct? Servers and clients on the domain automatically use the DC time.

      Not a domain, It's on a workgroup

Check what time server it is pointing to.

Watching brains on acid using an MRI

Acid may limit the brain's ability to tell internal ideas from external events.

What exactly happens in a brain when it is hit by a hallucinogen? Lots of drugs have effects that are obvious extensions of our normal body processes; they raise moods, dull pain, or boost our energy. But hallucinogens are notable for giving their users experiences that are anything but normal.

      Isn't that the POINT?

User is a local admin, but that does not solve the issue.

When when logged in as a local admin - processes don't run with higher privileges. Did you try doing a run as for this process? While UAC was enabled?

"Run as" worked, but wasn't always called. It's not a universal option, that was apparently the problem.

You can right click the shortcut for the app and check the box to make it run that way.

Only some apps. That's why I could test with Notepad.

Tried making a file from inside Notepad that was "Run as an Administrator" and that worked. So I am thinking that UAC is just not triggering like it should.

      Exactly
