anybody ever heard of Windows server 2008 resetting the date back ?
apparently it's happened a whole lot within the last week where it sets the date back to 1/31/2019 ever since that day..
      any Ideas on this?

Sets the time back, like goes back to 2012 or some date?

@WrCombs oh I believed you. It might be worth it's own topic.

I've never seen this occur personally. I've had timezone issues in the past. Usually much older systems. But I've not experienced this.

Is it on the domain? Is the DC time correct? Servers and clients on the domain automatically use the DC time.

I think you may be want to look for a daylight savings time patch. There were some released several years back that addressed the change in the time change schedules. They had to be applied manually.

Check what time server it is pointing to.

Didn't you say that the time is changing on the domain controller itself?

What's the time in the BIOS say (if it's a physical install)?

I've seen BIOS time issues before.

If it's a VM, what's the host time show?

Just got an email from some sales dick, and the last line is plenty creepy:

"Let me know your thoughts so I can help you better position yourself."

I would assume that he wants me bent over and ready for his big..... sales call.
