Trump steps up attack on 'US-hating' congresswomen

US President Donald Trump has redoubled his attack on four Democratic congresswomen, accusing them of "hating our country".
"If you are not happy, if you are complaining all the time, you can leave," he told a heated news conference outside the White House.

Go back where? To the state they were born in? They're US CITIZENS.

      How stupid is this guy?

Stupidest argument ever... "If you don't like it just leave..." orrrrr maybe I'll try to make things better?

    • RE: XenTools installation error for Linux

It never mounts on the first try for me on Ubuntu VMs for whatever reason, usually just running the mount command again will mount it read-only. It's almost always in /dev/cdrom despite what the documentation says.

      mount /dev/cdrom /mnt/

So you ran the CLI command within XS to mount the drivers into your guest?
Seems like the difficult approach. . .

Semi off topic, but this is one of those things where I've seen people complain about having to enter UUID's... In the 3-4 years I've been working with XS I've never once had to enter a UUID

What do you use/do instead 🙂 if anything? LinkedIn, General News sites, Forums like this
I've been thinking of doing this.

I've been using Instagram a little, but I'm rapidly getting sick of it. NPR app for news. ML for everything else. I haven't been a fan of LinkedIn since it's inception.

Not that I like Windows way better (sometimes it's good sometimes it's bad) but I swear, someone needs to take a look at the way these systems are designed!

There is definitely a learning curve to Linux coming from a life full of Windows. Once you learn it, though, you'll be that much better at all things Linux going forward! I think it's fun and a LOT of it makes way more sense after you learn the reasoning behind it.

Yeah, really don't miss it, at all. I hated FB.

I was on it back when you had to have a .edu email to sign up. It was soooo much better then. Now it is complete shit, I agree.

@jaredbusch Ah, I was confusing this with SAM's install script. I was about to say that the script didn't create a nextcloud.conf in my conf.d folder. I ran his script last night on a new server and it was only going to serve this one nextcloud install so I just modified the httpd.conf

Thy tool migrates settings from an old install to a new one.
I used to try an Elastixs to FreePBX 13 conversions and it sucked.

I'm obviously super late to the conversation, but we did a migration from Elastix to FPBX14 and it definitely sucked.

But as @JaredBusch recommended, we now had the option to export/import. So exporting from the messy migrated 14 to a fresh install of FPBX14 was a breeze and it's been rock solid since.

If you see any weird issues arise you may want to consider importing everything into a fresh install.

Agreed here on Nikon comments. We have a D5300, I mostly use it in point and shoot mode, too. My wife dabbles with the other settings. I have briefly used some friends lower end Canon DSLRs and the Nikon was a better fit for me.

I've decided to give IPhones a try, he coming Weeks (probably next pay day) I'll be going to get that - I want to see what the hype is about with those devices. Everyone Rants and raves about them , so Guess it's time to see.

you're jumping the gun... you should wait until the announcement of the next iphone in a few weeks... then the older models will be discounted.

there's a new one coming out?

Usually every September it's announced and then for sale a few weeks following

    • RE: Lastpass stores all subdomains as entries for the main domain

So I've set this up and it at least asked if I wanted to save the site for a new subdomain that I haven't already saved (instead of updating existing unrelated sites)... but it wants to save it as example.com still

EDIT: It saves the "Name" field as example.com, but it gets the "URL" field correct with the proper sub.example.com and no longer suggests the other subs that don't match. So this is definitely a way better start, still not ideal IMO, but it does work correctly

Bars similar to this have been appearing in emails from several of our vendors. Shouldn't we always be using proper judgement when doing those things? Not just when it's from an external source :man_facepalming:

      Cold brew coffee recipe:

In a 1 gallon glass carboy (or other beverage conveyance) combine 12 oz of coarsely ground coffee beans (medium roast or lighter) with 1 gallon spring water. Park it in the fridge and wait at least 5 days, 7 or more is best. Shake gently every day or so. Strain into glass containers through 3-5 layers of cheesecloth or muslin. Keep refrigerated, add milk and sugar (simple syrup) as desired. Hold on to your ass, because this stuff is like rocket fuel.

It looks like Unitrends can work with iSeries. I'm not sure they can offer whatever services you need. But it looks like you could buy one of their appliances and set it up to replicate offsite.
