They don't explain it very well there but you can spin up a VM with OwnCloud already installed and ready to go.

It runs on CentOS 6, but still very handy!

To clarify, the Calendar and Contacts are not third party, just handled the same as third party apps by the code now. So they now have their own update cycle available separate from the core app.

Thanks alot! I tried this about 4 times over the past quarter and struggled. I'll give it a go again in January.

Pretty cool, that is a really handy service. We use ownCloud here and love it. Being able to integrate other services so that you have a single pane of glass but multiple storage choices is really nice.

ownCloud is open source and available commercially hosted by the oem. They are here in MangoLassi too @kelleybrooks

It's not SharePoint, that's an application platform. ownCloud is a cloud storage system, a la DropBox or OneDrive.

@JaredBusch if you go into the config file fixing the LAN IP is trivial. Easiest config file ever.

Great. I am looking forward to some serious feedback on it. It is a really exciting project.
