Trouble shooting why this Windows 10 PC randomly restarts throughout the day with no reason for it - but it doesn't usually take as long as a "Normal" restart- it's much faster.
you sure it's shutting down and not just going to sleep?
that's what I thought as well, But its not set to take a nap at random.
This is what I've found so far.

https://mangolassi.it/topic/18166/windows-10-goes-to-sleep-outside-listed-sleep-times/2Basically the computer thinks it just woke from sleep (it thinks this at x amount of time of inactivity, where is is the registry setting in that post - the default is 2 min), assumes since this counter expired, it goes to sleep.
Setting the listed registry changes will likely fix the issue.
im trying one fix for one of those already I found on google this morning - then if that doesn't resolve it i'll try those too.

Mind you - that whole thread is ONE fix, not several.... so you need to apply the first reg change, then manually make the GUI change or make all of the Reg changes indicated in that thread.
