Upgrading an openSUSE 11.4 server to 12.1. Hopefully everything works after.

How old is that? And why upgrading to such an old state?

You cant go from 11.4 to 13.x, at least according to opensuse, or i would.
        11.4 is from 2011.

Doesnt the Tech an Me image use debian/ubuntu?

Yup, and that is not the direction that I am wanting to go as I am wanting to learn Red Hat/CentOS.

            My Salt guide uses Fedora.

            2 questions

            1. What distro of Linux is corporate America running on? Red Hat, Fedora, SuSe?
            2. What should I be learning to put myself into a Linux System Administrator position?

I used Fedora in my last guide also.

Gotcha. And current is 42.3, I think.

                    LOL, yeah, but it's still 13.0, 13.1, 42.0, 42.1, 42.2, 42.3

I don't actually go look at threads over over there anymore, unless someone posts it here. And it's still today, silly.

I check it out when I have time. But days like today, ML is too busy to be looking anywhere else.

In asking a question about Hyper-V 2016 and Windows Server 2016, he choosing the only word shared between the two as the nickname for both? So everything is "Can 2016 do this?" WTF Hyper-V or Server?

@Minion-Queen Did you guys get any hail yet? We're supposed to get quarter sized hail stones tonight.

we never did. Got the warnings it was coming last night but nada. But it did drop temp fast yesterday and today it's 55 here (brrr)

It's just hitting 55 here, feels so nice!
