I like how the change in political climate has made it seem literate to add single capitalized words after a sentence. Example: I had some food in the middle of the day. LUNCH!
That is not a new thing. Even if it was, I do not get how you could possibly link it to a change in politics.

Heading out for my daily walk.
I'd love to walk but someone starting shooting at cops yesterday on center street (2 mins away from me) and is currently holding a hostages.
This logic is all wrong.
Why would this mean you cannot walk. The area has more policed coverage now than normal.
The known shooter is not running around, they are contained with hostages.
Don't make excuses.
There is a war going on with the police in this area in general. My co-workers won't walk to lunch when it's nice out. It's a bad area (apparently). @BRRABill would know.
The US has a coding system so that people know where is nice and where is dangerous. There is a total avoid code, NJ.

I thought the Jersey Shore was pretty neat. . . at sunset the meth needles on the beach make the sand all sparkly. . . .

That is not a new thing. Even if it was, I do not get how you could possibly link it to a change in politics.
It's a weird childish speech pattern I've not seen make it into any kind of print until recent political quotes. I can't recall ever seeing it on a professional forum before.

As my 9yo is crazy about space, I have already promised the kids that we are going to skip the first day of school (August 21) and go down to the area to see the full eclipse.
