While they encroach on the midwest, they definitely seem more east coast.

That's what I thought. Seems like very little out east except NYC which is its own thing.

They're the Fry's of flyover country. Being based in Columbus, OH is nice as well. The warehouse is a 2 hour drive away.

That explains it. The closest location is about 3 hours and change from here. And that's the NE Ohio location. The NY stores are more like 6 hours away.

KC is my closest at 3 hours away - I've never been in there store, but I have ordered online from them.

The one in Cleveland really kinda sucks after you've been to the store in Columbus. My paycheck is in danger no matter which one I walk into tho 🙂

The USG price is awesome. I was not seeing it anywhere close to that online today when I was looking for one.

                        I'm sure pricing recently changed

I was serious on Amazon Wednesday looking at the pricing because I am proposing it to a client to replace an aging ClearOS box.

Someone found MicroCenter's price and decided to match it - but only after JB posted the Microcenter picture 😛

Sweet. There's a Micro Centre here too. Just north of 635 on 75 Central.

What is the small white module in the upper right hand corner?

That's the "cloud key", basically a hardware device that runs the control software for all the UniFi products.

Not really worth it. for $5/month you can setup a vultr VM that will host this for you.

The USG doesn't have the controller software in it. Don't ask me why, that would only seem to make sense, at least as an option.

I was foolish and bought a Cloud Key when it was first released... so I'm just using it.
