For me it would be, if they had good service in the areas where I spend most of my time.

It's almost worth the risk of paying for one month, get a SIM card and try out a temporary number for 2 weeks or so and see how the service is. Of course that would royally screw up my Telegram account 😛

They have a pay as you go. So I actually bought two sims last night on sale for like $3.80 a piece. Just to see if the service is worth it.

Good idea, I just did the same.

I've been using T-Mobile since they were VoiceStream. Never any real problem, and when I've called in for support, it's always fast to get things fixed. The one time I took exception to a rep was when the CSR in a store spent more time talking at me, staring at his fingernails, and I had friends with me, so the rep made TMo look bad, especially since I had popped a capacitor on my cell and needed a replacement immediately. As a result of this rep's lackadaisical attitude, I went back home and ordered from the play store directly, inserting the SIM and doing my own upgrade. It took me 3-4 days for shipping, of course.
Since we've been customers for so long, we have a direct line to the advocacy group that's a little more direct and specialized for anyone that's been a customer for 5+ years.

@Grey I actually helped with the transition from VoiceStream to T-Mobile. NTG was the north east contractor for moving the stores over from one to the other!
