For me it would be, if they had good service in the areas where I spend most of my time.

It's almost worth the risk of paying for one month, get a SIM card and try out a temporary number for 2 weeks or so and see how the service is. Of course that would royally screw up my Telegram account 😛

In slightly related news from about a year ago:
Apparently TMobile may be violating Net Neutrality laws. For price? I'd switch. Though, for me personally, learning about this makes me wonder if I'd support TMobile. Though, still not sure how much into the whole Boycotting thing I am. So, for now, just information for you guys.

They have a pay as you go. So I actually bought two sims last night on sale for like $3.80 a piece. Just to see if the service is worth it.

Doesn't pay as you go work a bit differently than their post pay service? I know for other carriers it did in the past.

The service area is different? I just got them to find out if I would have service on their network. If I do, then I'll go the normal route.

I don't know they are - different as in - data was massively slower than post paid, much more expensive, etc.. the network themselves I assume would have to all be the same.

Pay as you go - as in prepaid? How much did you have to plunk down to start?

Just the sim cards. I really just want to see if I have any service. 30 mins of talk or 30 texts was $3. So I'll just see if we have service and if we do I can actually get a real plan.

Good idea, I just did the same.

I've been using T-Mobile since they were VoiceStream. Never any real problem, and when I've called in for support, it's always fast to get things fixed. The one time I took exception to a rep was when the CSR in a store spent more time talking at me, staring at his fingernails, and I had friends with me, so the rep made TMo look bad, especially since I had popped a capacitor on my cell and needed a replacement immediately. As a result of this rep's lackadaisical attitude, I went back home and ordered from the play store directly, inserting the SIM and doing my own upgrade. It took me 3-4 days for shipping, of course.
Since we've been customers for so long, we have a direct line to the advocacy group that's a little more direct and specialized for anyone that's been a customer for 5+ years.

@Grey I actually helped with the transition from VoiceStream to T-Mobile. NTG was the north east contractor for moving the stores over from one to the other!
