The one we offered on 2 weeks ago fell through.
We made an offer this morning and just accepted at $228,000 after counters on this house.
That's really nice. I like the back yard and porch area. What is that dome in the back? Is that some sort of greenhouse?
Yeah, it is some kind of plastic green house. A place for me to kill plants.
We have banana trees on our property. The bananas should be ripe in a couple weeks . I counted about 200 bananas on the trees so far so I guess we will be giving some away soon.
Do you know what kind of bananas?
Cavendish, I would imagine.

The ones that growers have to graft onto a different tree to grow? Yeah, that video was a nice watch for those of us that already knew a bit about how bananas are grown.

This place is local and they have tons of different banana trees. I will have to check them out.

No I haven't. The nursery is about 30 mins from where I live so I will have to go down there and check it out. They have quite a few other interesting hybrids on their website.

All of these banana trees below will survive light freezes,
the Ice Cream is the hardiest of edible bananas.so much for these in Nebraska - we ain't got no light freezes here.

Was that a normal sale and regular financing?

New York is often insanely slow. Not that slow, but slow. Texas was so fast, we had no idea what was happening it happened so quickly.

We went through FHA, we expected it to take a few months but even our lender was surprised when it took the length it did.

We are in process right now. Offer signed last Tuesday, inspection was Friday. The underwriters had all the paperwork late Friday and will start that process today.

45 days is the average in Florida to secure the loan. Then maybe another week or two to close

45 days is the average in Florida to secure the loan. Then maybe another week or two to close
A bit shorter here typically. It is usually 45 days offer to closing.

Damn 45 days?
I was pre cleared for my loan in under 5 days. I was building the one and only time I've bought... so the rest of that I have no clue.
