Yup, got those email notices yesterday. Thankfully, I should only have a few random desktop shortcuts to correct.

This dramatically increases my willingness to work in China.

Very possibly. Many are major news outlets though and I had the news sent to me by political correspondents in Madrid who work with the government, so there is a little extra credibility there.

This is actually surprisingly powerful for what they are doing with it. Quad cores for a little thing like that? I wonder if it ever gets utilized in any serious way.

The only part of this that is "news" is the amount of willing help given, not that help was given.

Every single carrier will have done this to some degree or they would not be in business right now.

I'm not sure if they wouldn't be in business, but I agree, they all have participated. Also agree the only new part is the willingness.

That means that we have hit the tipping point. The world's largest SSD (at any cost) is now 60% larger than the world's largest spinning rust legacy style Winchester drive (at any cost.) So while SSDs remain more expensive per GB, they are no longer smaller in capacity!! We were told to expect that this year, but now it has happened.

A SpiceMember at our local SpiceCorps just got back from DEF CON. Got some official swag, always good. That bit about controlling a car is something I was waiting to happen. Pretty messed up.

So far, I am liking what I see...some "coolness" factor is coming back...and I am one of the 3% that simply prefer the Windows Phone/Mobile...

I just got vbox 5 installed last night. I might give this a whirl if yawl want me to. 🙂
