      Been working on Fedora 21 pretty heavily for several days now. So far so good, no issues at all. We use Fedora as our development platform so mostly coding on it.

      Now that I have FB sync'ed and my O365, I'm getting tons of notifications - I'll have to figure out how to disable them. I'd like it if the mail icon indicated that I have new messages, and maybe the same with FB, but I don't want a list of those notifications when I pull the top down.

      @Dashrender said:

      I understand that Security is rarely if ever free - but $10/user/month - this is really just an example of the government mandate and the ability of these companies to hold us over a barrel at this cost.

      I think that it is more a sign of how lazy companies are. $10/user is a bit of money. But there are free options. People just don't like them. You could set up something like Zix, it's really not all that complicated. But the effort to do so and the cost of running such a service would make it hard to maintain.

      If you think about the fact that they are doing something niche, that is more complicated than Exchange and only MS pulls off Exchange for $4/user. Rackspace charges $12/user for Exchange as do several other third party vendors. So $10 really isn't out of line with niche, high end email offerings.

      thinking about it some more, the unit still powers on. I should try and find a replacement screen for it next summer when (if) I go back to Japan when I send the family back.

      Yes. Though I thought it was pretty straightforward. The videos are pretty good for free, but the full price of $29 seems optimistic.

      It is amazing how little is needed to play older games. My desktop is seven years old but with the upgraded RAM and the three year old GPU it can play most any game from the 2000 decade and a few more recent.
