Probably not a lot anymore, but there could be a few random licensing agreements still hanging out there. Apple is pretty aggressive about things like that though.

Well only their own spy agency, which I am SURE can't do this, would be willing to consider such a thing. Certainly none of their neighbours, none of which have that capability, would be willing to share that data even if they could.

Remember, most countries don't have satellites at all, let alone spy satellites.

There are lots of vendors out there that will slice you a partition on a larger iSeries or even give you a blade and shared storage, even IBM will do it. It was one of my DR solutions for my last job, ship tapes to Rochester and load a slice up.

For xSeries, don't know. AIX is also a different beast and doesn't do the same thing that OS/400 does for partitioning.

It's been more than a decade. If Microsoft hasn't figured out mobile phones by now it is best to just give it up.
