Me too. The /l option can be useful to, it displays the results of the command without actually doing anything.

I actually prefer games that don't autosave. I don't mind a feature that allows the player to save whenever they want. Eliminating autosave makes you think more about the consequences of your actions.

Yes, but also results in heavy amounts of frustration in case you forget to save.

The root of the story is about how blind many people can be to totalitarianism. it is worth watching both V and V: The Final Battle...the weekly 80's series, as mentioned, started strong but ended very badly (IE badly written and acted)...

Yes, these sound like potentially very dangerous people. The chances that they will ever be valuable members of society seems unlikely. Fifteen and seventeen years old is not young and they are able to make decisions like adults. These are not kids and this shows a severe lack of critical thinking and ethics.

I agree that you should not half dress - you will be stressed knowing you can't move or whatever. Just a bad idea.

I've always been told about the dress well to "sound confident" thing. I don't believe this though. For me, at least, it is the opposite. I'm more confident when I am more comfortable. I went to a private school that made us dress up every day because it made for "better learning", but the reality was that it just made us more distracted all of the time because we were uncomfortable. Maybe some people feel confident when dressing formally, but that is an arbitrary confidence association for certain people at best and definitely has no universal application. For the reasons that it would make some people confident, it would make others the opposite. And most, I assume, it does not affect at all.

I recommend the orginal KOTOR for the best experience of this style. DA is great too. Its more refined than KOTOR, but the story line and different places you visit in KOTOR can't be beat.

I love KOTOR too. But I like DAO better.

The first time I played through KOTOR, I used laser rifles and pistols with my main character. It amounted to all sorts of useless upgrades when I finally became a jedi. That is the fun part about RPGs though. Building your characters wrong the first time, makes it fun in the long run.

I know that now, but I didn't know that the first time I played. Blasters really suck in that game. Carth is the only person that can actually use blasters.

Never bring a gun to a knife fight! If you can use swords in a game, in whatever form they are, always do it! Besides, it's a Star Wars game. How can you not just know that you'll be a Jedi (or the most evil Sith ever apparently)? Lol

There is no Desi connection, I am afraid. The title was proposed a bit as an inside joke but a bunch of people liked it and asked to keep it. So it stuck. A very popular forum that is much like this one makes references to spicy food heavily and, of course, the perfect compliment to a very spicy mean is a delicious Mango Lassi. Hence the name.

Our community is very international, though. We have people from everywhere here and more joining from all over the world all of the time.

I think that I have it on LaserDisc.

No question that part of being good at that has to be accepting that there are many ways to skin the cat and just because it isn't your preferred approach does not mean that it is wrong. Maybe it is even better. Everyone tends to have certain products and approaches that they will use if not given some reason not to. That might be installing Active Directory or it might be using Cisco routers or maybe installing CCleaner on every desktop. All valid options, but are they the best in every case?
