It might be. What makes you assume that we are discussing the same half?

Ah true.. For the glass can not be just half full or half empty. For truly it is completely full. Only half is liquid, the other gas.

Thus - while knowing is half the battle,.. it is what you knew before that makes it whole...

unless it is full of vacuum, then it is full of empty.

Empty space (vacuum of space) still has energy! Don't make me bust out my physics all up in here

This wasn't a topic about religion. It was about advertising. Religion happened to be the thing that was being advertised in the OP's object of discussion.

It was a continuation from another advertising thread.

@coliver no way man, it needs to be temporal, fleeting, existing in the moment like bits wizzing around my network before hitting a 10mbit hub

I had a cheaper Relic skeleton watch until it failed on me a couple weeks ago. I upgraded to a Pebble classic and I have had it about a week. So far, so good. I like it, but I would have never spent more than the $75 bucks I did on a smart watch. I may do a little programming on it just to try out the SDK, but for now, I'm happy with being able to get GPS directions without looking at my phone and driving, having a bike computer, coffee timer, and seeing my phone notifications without digging my phone out and putting in my unlock code.

That's much like the guidebooks here.... "In litigious countries like the US, you'd never be allowed to go explore a live lava flow, but here in Nicaragua, you can walk right up to the volcano edge."

They seem to favor natural selection and Darwin Awards, lol.

Yup. We drove right between eight volcanoes this week, it was awesome!

But who hires those contractors... you or Comcast.

Comcast always. You are not allowed to touch poles by law in almost every municipality. Those are OWNED by others. Why is this even a question?

I mentioned about that my friend was told that he had to hire his own contractor to run replacement cables from the pole to his house for power. It wasn't done by the power company.

Skype exist yes, but the idea is to be able to have a home phone type of solution, where you aren't on a laptop or desktop computer.

A true "home phone" so to speak.

You'd be surprised, there were several phones at Best Buy the last time I looked (5 years ago) that connected directly to Skype - though I can't recall if they did it through your PC via the local network or not.

there are both. Some USB handsets for your PC and stand alone phones.

They use the zero clearance AC here or whatever it is called. So you can add it easily. You would not need AC in Molina Norte, though, rarely tops 70 at night. Almost always in the mid to high sixties at night, seventies during the day, year round.
