@BC I tried the Disk Management, Selected the 2TB WD HDD, it was not initialised. Tried to initialise the disk and got access denied error. I hope you read my initial posts, that I tried the same thing using Disk Utility on a MAC and dd command to clean the hard drive.

@nara Tried the diskpart as well but without success. I am actually checking Spinrite if that helps. Will let you know the results soon.

He posted there first. This is for taking from client site to client site, not for a permanent setup which Spiceworks handles very poorly and is not designed around.

Google provides helpful guides on how to construct proper websites. I'm surprised by how few sites follow it.

This is different for MSPs, but as an employee I refuse all personal desktop work to other employees. As far as friends, I tell them the same thing. I dont work on personal PCs. The only ones I will work on are immediate family or my parents.

No amount of money is worth helping someone that is going to continually ask you questions. Especially when they are a friend or Uncle and think they deserve the tech support.

I'd have to say Ubuntu, I've found it has the best "Built in" compatibilities and since it's the "Band wagon" linux OS, I've never had an issue finding support online.

Google forms are ace. We're about to start using them. It's just a very easy way to create a form which then populates a Google spreadsheet. Previously, I've created HTML forms and validated them on the server with classic ASP, and used them to populate an SQL Server database - which isn't trivial (compared with using Google at least). There are various add-ons you can use with Google forms, I believe, but haven't delved into that so far. I don't know why Microsoft don't offer something similar with Office365.

The biggest stumbling block with Google forms is that, as far as I'm aware, you can't remove Google's branding. I wouldn't want Google's logo to be the first thing our visitors see. So it's not an option for this particular project.

The iPad app I'm looking at has the SMS sent from the app providers servers. You don't configure anything yourself. You just upload a CSV of mobile numbers via their website and they take care of the rest.

I second that. If Evernote ever gets tables that look and work just like OneNote, I will switch to EN instead of juggling between both!

I just upgraded the server from 4.1 to 4.2 last week and it was so seamless. Then pushing out to the devices was simply a matter of selecting the devices and telling them to reinstall.
