about to start loading up the work van for on call this week (got to grab POS equipment, terminals, printers, power cords, etc.) So if I have any on site calls I can go and replace quickly get the clients back up and running faster.

Morning everyone, I have a love hate relationship with my sons new school schedule. He cant be there until 8:35. Work starts at 8:00; My boss is okay with me coming in and staying an hour late to make up for it, However today I got to my desk with a fresh cup of coffee and got sent on site first thing.
Drinking luke warm Coffee and catching up on tickets, and reading emails.

Is there a benefit to use IDE Raid?
What is best practice for 2 Disks raided off of each other ? We use Nobilis PC's(Servers) with two 500 GB WD Blue Sata Drives, Set to Raid in our Fileservers for our Sites. How ever I am not seeing an option for Raid with the Two Drives Plugged in ( Even with new drive and an old one ).
AS I said in What are you doing Right Now: I was told to just stop and let someone else do it because It's done a different way.
I see when I go into the Bios I can set it to either AHCI ( Advanced Host Controller Interface) or IDE - But I don't know which one , It defaults to IDE.
Im not going to go over someone else's Head and keep working on it, But for my own knowledge Id like to know: Which one is better? AHCI or IDE? Is there any real Benefit to IDE Raid?
I understand it's the simplest form of Raid (According to the link) above. Just wanted to see what everyone else thought.

@wrcombs Boss used his card both times and both times, the hotel wanted the card physically. Didn't matter if you already reserved the rooms ahead of time. It was the 3rd Party form that saved my hide both times.

not really - it's only really fits for people who are 35 or older today. Tons of 20 somethings have never seen a star wars movie at all.
The only people I know that don't like Star Wars are women and to be fair these specific women don't like anything so who really cares
No he's right, there's a lot of kids (edit Guys) my age ( 21 ~) that havent seen SW nor want to see it!
A lot of the kids my age would rather watch the new ones "because better graphics" , I no longer talk to these people.. I dont need that negativity in my life.

apparently My Boss was working with a site on setting up a lab for them and didnt tell any of us about it. so when they put a call in We're cautious about giving information to the IT departments at our sites ( because thats what I was taught: by MY BOSS. )
