I've heard the "bendy" problems may stem from when the phone is hot and under tensile stress. You should keep an eye on it while it's charging or in your pocket for awhile.

C'mon! Send-MailMessage for the win. Just the fact that it took so much coding in VBScript in comparison to do this very thing. Very useful to pop at the end of a script designed to gather some stats or other stuff.

11 hours too late, but it sounds like you guys had it sussed back @nadnerB called it as a public folder + calendar. It probably would have taken me a little while to get to that point as well, since I don't do a lot with PS in Exchange (we have a very low volatility environment here) lately.

Freeware is one thing, but Open Source, I dunno. Seems like the whole 'making profit' by shady methods is kind of counter to the whole Open Source movement in general. If you want to promote sharing and code maturity via the collective, making money from some profit-centered and possibly harmful utility really accomplishes only the opposite desired effect, IMHO.

I personally wouldn't do this - I would let Exchange do it naturally, you might run into wonky permissions issues and cause yourself more headaches in the future.

That I'm sure of. Like it was stated above, there's enough non-technical users downloading it to make it worth their (Adware companies) while, but your application loses credence with the technical crowd as soon as one PC is infected with something that was completely out of your control as a project submitter.

I didn't realize there was a new domain...that would explain why you're not doing coexistence, which is what most normal installations would follow. Not saying it couldn't be done, I mean you could create a domain trust and go that route, but things are a bit more clear now.

I run Plex on Linux and have noticed that performance will decrease over time. Never really dug into it. I'll do this tonight I'm sure it will make my kids happy!

I think it's great that there is a discussion about the implications of backing/not backing up data, but I don't see why this conversation has to derail. I think a new topic would be sufficient for that.

Overall, this was just to notify people about what I'm seeing in the field and to give a "heads-up" to anyone. Now I'm getting spammed with stuff I don't really care about (well, I do, but that wasn't the direction I was expecting the topic to go).

I wish it was that easy! There's just no slots available for cards...it's very proprietary that way. Basically, there's a small header on the motherboard that can be plugged into and wired up to a svga adapter.

Yeah! I was in that page (DNS Forwarder setup)...applied those options (they weren't checked)...then I noticed that even though I have a static IP set, DHCP was still allocating an IP to the interface!

I set a static IP reservation on pfSense, and now nslookup is working, but ping isn't, but I'm thinking this is a firewall issue at this point.

Ah, also...

I've not had to adjust this setting in a long time...

Added DNS suffix to my network adapter and to append that suffix to DNS lookups. Now I can ping via short and FQDN (I'm using workgroup at home).

You can use the hell out of these sensors in no time flat.

Want to monitor a switch? Each port/graph type is a sensor...Exchange servers alone can take up to around 15 or so if you don't pare them back.

I like PRTG, and this is a step in the right direction, but they really need to reach back to their roots and bring out a Lite product that JUST does simple SNMP monitoring on the cheap.

I'm a little surprised that Avast! hadn't included their mobile device AV in here as well...just a rambling thought....but, heck, free AV for servers? It's hard to argue with that.
