I have 3 27" monitors and a 40" TV being used as a monitor. I really want to just get 3 more 27"ers so I can stack them but I am pretty sure my husband would say no to that one 😛

why? If they serve a purpose, they are worth while.

I actually could use them. As some windows apps finally get better I am having to use 2 completely different computer setups less and less. 6 monitors to keep track of all the social media stuff, management stuff etc. isn't a stretch to prove the need for them 😉

OHhhh I just measured.. I can fit the 6 stacker in my space (I have overhead cabnets in the way).. do I want to spend $80 on the stand is the question..

      So, what would you do?

Dedicate Dillards for one client and JCPenney's for another client?

You need to grow? Okay, we'll move you from the small mom & pop shop and move you into where Radio Shack used to be. That will double your space.

Just wanted to double check because of the mention of ownCloud

Sign in to the database and create the ownCloud instance and user.
You will be prompted to enter your database root password.

Not meaning to be nitpicky, but wanted to double check.

I was actually considering something like this for external as well for a project portfolio. Something similar to SW, but wouldn't be worried about it disappearing sometime soon.

      VHF/UHF HT for Packet radio

      Sigh,... and the list grows.

      Ohh Ohh Ohh.

Please add this. This has been on my project list forever but just haven't gotten around to doing it yet. Something about kids needing to be fed or something.

Why would I want a cell phone on this thing?

I can think of 2 reasons off of the top of my head.

      1. Your own cell phone. Don't have to worry about Google monitoring you with Android and more.
      2. Home Assistant with this could turn into an alarm system that can alert you if somebody was to break the hard line.

How do yall feel about Veeam B&R's SureBackup? Is that as reliable as checking the backups themselves or do you actually check for VM functionality in an isolated environment?

Our doctor's office just emailed us to tell us that 2+ years of medical records were lost because they weren't testing backups. They kept getting a "your backup was successful" message, but no one looked to see if that was true.

So not only did they totally lose their medical records system (um, really?) but they don't have working backups.

They must have been using Backup Exec.

"It uses sonar, and those ultrasonic pulses can see straight through blanket (and PJ's) to monitor the movement of your chest as your breathe your way through the different stages of sleep."

Note that a San Diego, California based company, ResMed purchased Zeo's intellectual property. Sadly, ResMed produces another of the cannot possibly (and doesn't) work bedside sleep monitors, the S+. It bathes the sleeper in microwave radiation and uses the Doppler-shift in reflected microwaves to detect upper body motion and respiration. Aside from bathing its user in microwaves, which seems somewhat contradictory to health-promoting, and having no idea what's going on inside the sleeper's brain, thus being more wrong than right, it is confused by anyone else who might be sharing the same bed. No thanks.

So...who wants to be cooked while they sleep?

      I could use a base tan 😄

Laura is so unbelievably afraid of radiation it's almost a phobia so that's a no go anyway

I used to work in the nuclear medical waste area of a hospital and in our training we learned that Americans do so much to shield themselves from radiation that it's become a health problem. Most Americans don't get a proper amount of radiation for maximum health.

That's interesting - haven't heard that one before. what is the proper amount?

Have you ever informed her that she is bombarded with gamma rays from the sun all of the time and there is nothing that she can do about it?

Also, bananas have a naturally produced ion of potassium in them. Every time you eat a banana, you are getting a dose of radiation.

On top of that, supposedly, Mountain Dew is also radioactive, sort of like a glow stick, or a minion.
