Shitting it...SCCM decided to be stupid (and I didn't think about it) and decided to try and install windows on the wrong drive...it decided to try install on the 2TB drive containing the users videos etc (in design) rather than the new 256GB SSD...I know, I should have unplugged it all before I started...but yeah.

      F*CK

Got my quarterly reminder email that I'm forbidden to work in the USofA this morning. Every three months they send one to me just to remind me how corrupt the US legal system is and how I'm forbidden to be employed in my home country. Lovely.

      o.O

      What?!

I've whitelisted it, as it was blocking some of them...

Just sorted ID Tags for 3 new starters, installed some visual studio updates and extensions for someone else, had breakfast, and now back at my desk 🙂

This dual-drive solution will function as a single volume, but spanning drives isn't without its costs. Mushkin tells us to expect random read and write performance of about 10K IOPS.

Like 10K IOPs is so unusable. LOL

It's funny how barely mainstream SSDs are (yeah I know Scott's been using them for a decade already 😉 ) and if you don't have 70K+ they are practically asking why you bother. LOL

      😞

I can't tell you how many times I've built gaming PC's for rich people's children and they insist on high capacity mechanical drives. I even tell them if you really want that buy a 256 GB SSD for the OS/Programs and use big mechanical drives for storage. They not only won't do it but also won't purchase higher capacity SSD's. It's crazy.

do they least buy 10,000 RPM drives..? Better than nothing...

OT: Just got back from lunch, sent two parcels weighing less than 2kg between them, one to Parents on a Scottish Island and one to the Fiancee in the Falklands...£20 to send them both 😢

Didn't get much gaming done this weekend - played a bit of CrossFire and had a game of DotA but that's about it - Took me a while to get onto dota as the dll of actual multiple monitors was causing it to crash before it had even opened - slightly annoying, so had to close AMM before playing...

Also got in touch with EA support to get my origin account back (some dodgy Russian had managed to get into it) - but I have 2 new games on it now, so can't all be bad :') (I also now have 2FA setup on it - when I last logged in, November 2013, that wasn't an option!)

@NattNatt The big fish was taken in Texas. I'm not sure about any strict bowfishing regulations... I used to dabble a bit, and all you needed was a fishing license, but that was 20+ years ago. There are zero regulations on gar, as they are kind of a nuisance. Either way, head on over and we can find some private water to bowfish if necessary.

Hah I WOULD love to go to Texas...hmmmm... 😛

You should look up pictures of the Congo River Tiger Fish have seen one around 80 lbs. and about 3 ft. long. I think it's also been called the Monster Fish. Creepy scary looking things. But taste really good.

I'll try and get in touch with one of the fishing companies I used to support - they have pictures of some of the largest Toothfish that have been caught on their vessels...The biggest was about 3 Metres long if I remember correctly...

Down here we have alligator gar, which are frightening and angry creatures. We frequently catch them while fishing for large catfish or bass (using very large live bait). The big one below was apparently harvested by a bow fisherman and weighed over 300lbs.

Isnt there a law that only locals can fish with a Bow? Or is that another area I'm thinking of?
