5 dollar gt 710 is better than that thing. Likely the new drivers for quadro on amd site dont even work with it, so Win10 is probably unsupported.

I agree, just go to Best Buy and buy the cheapest video card. I've used one and it works fine for gaming so it should work fine for any office work obviously!

So it turns out that Easy Appointment is not a fit. No reminders of an upcoming event, only if an event changes are there email notifications.

Nextcloud Calendar may work but for some reason, the popup reminders are not working even though I've enabled popups for the site on my browser. Even tried via Edge and Firefox and popups don't work in those either. I'd also need to figure out a way to turn off the file share function of Nextcloud for this to be approved. I'm going to keep plugging away at Nextcloud and see if I can get reminders to work.

      Hi,

I liked how you moved past the OS distro and focused on the apps. Cause that will result is waste of time.

I second Thunderbird especially with outlook accounts.

Check Wine, maybe it can help you with MS Publisher

      Your logic is flawed.

If you let it communicate once, it has no reason to continually retry.

If you block it, it does not know that it cannot do as designed and will continually retry.

      Re-read the post.

I have not seen this yet or any reports but reminds me of the one a month or so ago that still continues to install on others.

This is nothing new. Windows systems have been doing this for years.

That is one reason the Update fixit exists.

I'll be in the same boat too. I get some free credits for Azure as well, and I can honestly say that I have never once had an issue with it. However, once my free credits expire, the costs of the VM will be far too expensive to keep it there.

We have free credits and we found them to be worthless.

I can't say the same, but I can say that after the credits run out, I won't be using them most likely.

I guess I am one of the lucky ones who just has a good experience with Azure so far. (that I have noticed) No downtime at all in over 2 years. I am in the East cost data centers. Perhaps that makes a difference.

Currently (which breaks proper tracking because the script is blocked by most browsers):
      <script src="http://sub.domain.com/mtc.js" async data-source="mautic"></script>

      A location should handle this.

in your :80 server block add a location

      location /mtc.jc { rewrtie ^ https://sub.domain.com/mtc.js; }

Thanks, I'll give that a try.

Pulled that right out of my ass, it very well may not work. But you get the general idea.

It does work, as I have used it on Apache like my post below:

That PC had been on 1709 for many months. Just out of the blue.

      Yup. You are correct.

NTG uses a responsive firewall on its internal PBX and have very very little rare issues. Set the phones server, stun, and such and you are good to go.

You use STUN with the responsive firewall ? I haven’t had to use STUN for a while now, but I know a lot of people still have to use it. Just curious as to why?

We use STUN always. The responsive firewall doesn't affect the need for STUN in any way. STUN is for the end points, not the server.

Does the traffic from the endpoint via STUN not also appear form the STUN IP to the server? I rarely use it. so just wondering.

I use the actual CloudFlare certs that they give you also. Not just clicking the cloud. I use GitLab pages to host my blog and LetsEncrypt renewal is still manual there. So I got a free cert from CloudFlare which is good for 15 years and used that instead.

Are you talking about the Universal SSL (Shared) or the Origin Certficates?

@jaredbusch said in Nginx Active-Passive HA:

@NashBrydges side question. If you setup the .well-known to work correctly, why do you then need the HA? because nginx will never be down except for the momentary reload after the certs are updated.

That certainly addresses the biggest concern about a long downtime during the renewall process for a high number of certs and probably addresses most concerns with this client. He's already running Veeam replication to a second box so his RTO and RPO are relatively short and within his business tolerance.

Having said that, it's a great learning opportunity for me to set this up in my lab, if for no other reason than to try it and see how it works.

Certainly no reason not to do it for a lab. and for a proxy with as much as it sounds like you have in production, it will still be a likely good solution.
