I'll post my directions that I created for our documentation tomorrow. Once the computer connects to AD the user has to configure bitlocker and the drive won't encrypt until the keys are backed up. It works really smoothly.

Does it require TPM? Is there a boot time password?

TPM is not always required. For us it is. There is a boot time password configured by the user.

So it's not their domain password?

Nope... well at least not for the system drive. I haven't checked about a secondary drive.

So if the form is submitted and then the receiver prints it out and deletes it, the information moves across the internet and is protected by SSL, but the data isn't sitting in a google account that can get hacked. (forcing 2 factor would be even better)

You really just need an online HR service provider to handle this.

To see if I could reproduce the error by moving the account from the default Users folder back to the OU where it was I discovered that when I moved it to the Users folder the error went away. I put the user back in the OU where it came from and the error won't come back. I agree - weird indeed.

In summary, I guess if I move those users to the Users folder and back where they came from, the problem should be resolved. I'll have to test on a couple other users.

After doing everything the articles said and rebooting the server, when it still wasn't working, I wondered if it had something to do with not being able to write to those attributes, so I created a test account in the users OU, and it worked. Checking the license log, I noticed that the server had been giving out licenses properly, but not for all accounts. Then I went through the log again and discovered that all the 4105 errors were generated by accounts that were not in the default Users OU.

@Jason Acrobat Pro for $55 from techsoup.org for the win. I thought the only option was the creative cloud suite subscription. I missed the Acrobat Pro option.

I think my issue was that in my environment, I already had Office 2010 installed. For some reason a wmic command to uninstall Office 2010 wouldn't work, but this tool does.

If you are trying to provide coverage for the customers, and only have one device - you risk 'losing' those customers since one carrier gets preferential treatment.

@Mike-Davis Your confusing two different services both offered by Backblaze.

Backblaze Business is a backup service like CrashPlan Business. $50 year for unlimited data, but it's designed for workstations not servers. This service is NOT in beta.

The service I was discussing was their B2 Cloud Storage service which is like Amazon S3. It just raw storage, you need something like the Cloudberry software to do the backup, and B2 would storage the data.

      Does this make since?

P.S. I didn't realize B2 Cloud Storage was still in beta, would be better to hold off using it in production for now.

I thought in the other thread they had said it was out of Beta now.
