When Microsoft moved to version 8, was there a lot of desktops that couldn't run it due to the requirements? I remember when having 512 memory was standard. I would think a few homes were still running older systems at that point.

Are the majority of apps web based today or is it like he said there is a move in that direction? I know the A+ material is often behind the times when it comes to the real world.

I know Frontier (our local ISP uses dynamic addresses. Are most businesses using a static address or is this just something you will always have to look up?
