I have seen what you are saying, on quite a few different forums. I really don't mind Thread Derailment because most of the time I've seen it end in a resolution anyway. You pinned it right here: "This is actually an important aspect of communications and not a bad thing, tangential conversations often lead to new things."
If I wasn't able to side track for a second or two than my brain would go haywire, especially if I hit a wall headfirst. I'm more easy going though, & I expect in no situation where I ask for the "best" there will be a definitive answer. There are a lot of people who are high strung or just need to be professional 24/7 which is worse than being high strung IMO.

I dunno, my brain is going a million miles a minute right now so, I apologize if this may seem incoherent or all over the place.

I'm down to throw it on my laptop at home for testing.

I got INTJ which for the most part is very true from reading about it.

from the manual I found it looks to be a copier. Hopefully this helps with finding it.

Yeah we are normally printing then laminating, but the boss of bosses asked me to check around. Although by searching I may have found a better laminating machine than the one we have. Thanks.

I've been tasked to look & see if there are any printer/laminator combos for purchase (not an ID Card Printer), I'm not sure if there are any but that's because I haven't seen one personally. I've been perusing the Google for a few hours now, & cannot find what I am looking for. Page after page, rewording, adding words, & excluding words from the search. To help out in my constant search I am looking to see if anyone here has ever come across such a thing in the wild.

Reading through that RAID5 SW thread that Scott was sent a S.A.M. signal for 4 or 5 days ago. It seemed a little flammable there for a little bit but by page 8-9 things are civil & very interesting read overall. I'm still a little noobsicle (what I consider at least a half-step above just outright noob) when it comes to the RAID & what the exact pros & cons are of each, so it was still a good read overall especially for the learner in me.

My apologies if this doesn't make sense or seems like rambling, been a long day here.
I see the point & kind of why I steered clear of posting to those threads, especially as heated as they can get. I'm not going to lie & say I didn't read them though. Moderation is a good thing but only in Moderation. (sorry had to) I try to see things from both points of view, keyword try, I know I have been a part of a couple of other threads that probably wouldn't be looked at very highly. I love that community & I love this community, so to that effect these are two separate communities, & need to be treated that way. Especially when the majority of the active people in ML are also very active in SW (an prime example for this thread). I am glad to see something good come from something that seemed kind of going into a downward spiral. I don't blame anyone specifically, as people can get heated under the collar & need to vent/rant, it will just have to be a conscious effort to remember if it is really in need of a flamewar style thread or if it can just be passed with a good brew.
