So following on from the Other thread.

Looks like i'm heading to the Install KVM, setup a Linux VM and use that to manage the KVM server from that.

Not having much luck with ElasticSearch.
Did try looking at Graylog but not having any luck with that either. Downloaded the Virtual Appliance just to play with for now.

So downloaded the Virtual Appliance of GrayLog 3.0 deployed it to a ESXi Server. Span it up, logged in, set-up NXLog on my windows machine. Setup a input for my machine in Gray log and i can see logs coming in

I've been looking into Elsatic Stack, Cyber Security, Pen Testing etc etc. Doing this on a laptop/desktop soon bombs out.
Don't want to do this on works network incase

So i thought buy a "Lab" Server and do what i want

setup a linux machine and got 40-50mb speeds instead of the 1-2 to the WD.
