    • SAN storage level redundancy in Windows failover cluster possible ??

      Dear Team,

      My customer planned to migrate existing file server to windows file server failover clustering. New Environments have DC and DR location, one windows node1 server in DC and another node2 in DR. We configured DC located SAN storage box providing 2 LUNs[1lun use for windows quorum and 1lun use for fileserver data] to mapped in both NODE1 DC and NODE2 DR. Now, server level cluster redundancy tested successfully.

      Requirements ;
      Customer need requirement for SAN storage level redundancy like entire setup goes down in DC location, They will run windows file server clustering in single node in DR location with help of storage replication luns from DC SAN storage to DR SAN storage. I have doubts ??

      Questions

      1. In windows failover clustering, if windows quorum LUN disks replicated from DC storage box to DR storage box. If my DC storage box goes down, so my windows quorum disks and my file data disks unavailable state that time i will mapping DR storage replicated windows quorum disks and file data disks to DR Windows cluster NODE2 means, windows cluster accept replication windows quorum disks, it is possible or not ?? help me

      Provide your suggestions

      Thanks

      Event ID 4013

      hi , primary domain controller event viewer shows below error event id:

      “The DNS server is waiting for Active Directory Domain Services (AD DS) to signal that the initial synchronization of the directory has been completed. The DNS server service cannot start until the initial synchronization is complete because critical DNS data might not yet be replicated onto this domain controller. If events in the AD DS event log indicate that there is a problem with DNS name resolution, consider adding the IP address of another DNS server for this domain to the DNS server list in the Internet Protocol properties of this computer. This event will be logged every two minutes until AD DS has signaled that the initial synchronization has successfully completed.”
