Wow, our second Spaniard in a day! That's crazy. What part of Andalucia are you from? I used to live in Canar, in Granada province just outside of Orgiva.

lol, sorry if I didn't make it clear. I was an expat in Spain and am not Spanish myself and I am embarrassed to say that even though I lived there for a while, unfortunately I don't speak Spanish and have been stubbornly mono-lingual. I was born in South London and grew up in Balham (gateway to the south) where my parents still live.
Moved to Benalmadena Pueblo and a bit "off grid" in the campo in between the towns of Yunquera, Alozaina and Tolox.
Gotcha. I'm American originally but working hard to speak Spanish and Italian.
I am the slacker in our family. My wife is about 80% fluent and our children can probably speak better Spanish than English. My excuse is that I wasn't there all the time and was working in different European locations (quite a lame excuse tbh).
