Got it. I was speaking on a purely technical way, but that’s a limited view.

Being an old timer .DBF means to me dBase/Fox Pro/Clipper Database File, If that's the case then you can try http://www.alexnolan.net/software/dbf.htm

it seems like there are 2 versions of Aloha, one uses a SQL database and the other uses only DBF files easily manipulable in Fox Pro. But it seems like the SQL based Aloha stills has DBFs in the server.

So the easiest thing would be to download a dBase DBF viewer and try it on a copy of an Aloha DBF.

I don't think that will work well. If cPanel is needed then a VPS like DigitalOcean $10/mo droplet should be considered minimum.
You may try disabling the big memory hogs, at least:

Solr
SpamAssasin

There are SOGo extensions for thunderbird and Lightning for native calendar and address books. I do not know of a native solution for integration with Outlook

So I am configuring my first fully virtualized Active Directory using Hyper-V ith 2 VMs dedicated to AD using Windows 2016.
Everything is fine except that I am not sure about what is the proper configuration for Time synchronization.

There are lots of conflicted information on Internet, in the end I tried to use

I know you already decided and my comment add no real value to your decision. But I want to add up that I used their email services until about 2 years ago for a critical domain:

• The email service worked well
• The anti SPAM was too basic and was the main reason to move out
• Support was generally good and sometimes really bad. The fact that I had to call support says a lot as I am used to solve things on my own; calling support only when there are no other options.

They have been in business at least since 2013. If I remember right, by that time they data centers were in Finland/UK only.
I host some simple services in their Chicago data center and they work very well.

On the other hand, UpCloud was consistently good with some data centers outside of US

Pentaho is another option. I have only used the ETL part but the suite is large

I forgot to mention the other big option along with Jasper and Pentaho: Spago BI now known as Knowage
