    • RE: Chrome and Firefox Users Make Better Employees

I haven't looked into the stats, but I would be very surprised if the majority of SMBs don't still use IE as their default.

I use Chrome and IE interchangeably, and frankly I'd be hard pressed to tell the difference. I think the rounded tabs on Chrome look prettier, but that's about it.

It's only so surprising since they know that you have his password and can do that. It's not surprising that you won't do it, but for them to assume that that is a primary reason for why you keep his password is not really much of a stretch.

You're confusing users with domain administrators. I have access to all company data because I'm the IT manager. Users don't because they're users. There's a very clear distinction. You're treating them the same.

Wow. Let's get rid of universal suffrage cos that will fix all of America's problems. Why don't you bring back slavery whilst you're at it?

How do you do this in Wordpress?

And can anyone find any mainstream website that actually does a 301 on uppercase URLs?

    • RE: Why is VMWare considered so often

If the business grows, switch to something else. That's partly the beauty of free, simple products. Use them today. When (or if) business needs change replace them with something else. It's only when there is a big initial investment in a solution (in terms of money and time) that you need really need to focus on scaling in the future. IT solutions can be a lot more dynamic and short-term now than when I started out.

I'm not sure what your point is? Supporting legacy applications is a fact of life for most companies.
