Found a pretty major short coming. So far I can't get MC agents to install on older Windows. I have SC on systems going back to XP (but can't install on 2000). But so far, MC won't install on 2000, XP, 2003, 2003 R2 at all. And on 2008 it installs but does not appear to connect.
For something this new, supporting outdated OS makes no sense.

The one thing I would like, that I don’t have now with TV, is the ability to remote into iOS and Android. I get just as many questions about those devices and it is usually when someone is out of the country or something. Doesn’t SC allow for this? Too bad MC doesn’t yet.
What kind of questions you will need that requires remote access to iOS and Android? Setting up email?

@JaredBusch Interesting.
The fact that it works for you without even trying means that you have some kind of Nat hairpin already in place whether you know it or not
Blame fortigate
He may not know it by that "Hairpin NAT" term. When I first heard it a couple years ago or whenever, I had no idea idea it meant "NAT loopback", which is the only tearm I've heard or seen it called before that.
Yup. I had heard the term, didn't know it was synonymous with NAT loopback.
NAT Reflection when using pfSense.

Wasn't pfsense in production, I guess I would say, "frowned upon"?
PfSense is awesome. Avoid turning into a UTM so it can stay stable.

RE: Nextcloud Backup System Idea
Now this is off the top of my head.
You have restic installed on your Nextcloud VM and Backup VM.
Restic is configured to backup the following folders:- config folder
- data folder
- theme folder
You make a backup of your database. You can probably leave out the
date +"%Y%m%d
since restic timestamp your snapshots.mysqldump --single-transaction -h [server] -u [username] -p[password] [db_name] > nextcloud-sqlbkp_`date +"%Y%m%d"`.bak
Have restic backup your database that you've just backed up.
- database
After restic completes it backups to the Backup VM, then setup restic on your Backup VM to backup that data to Backblaze.

RE: Nextcloud Backup System Idea
This person create a automatic backup using restic that sends the backup to Backblaze
It can email notifications on failure too.

Is there just no way to play these old games anymore?
Android. They are ALL available except the three I mentioned.
Well thats just sad, I don't want to play on my phone
Didn't say phone. Nvidia Shield is an Android gaming rig, for example. You can play Android on your TV.
Oh I see what your saying. Still wish it was available for pc on a console.
You could make a Retro Pi too. I have one and its fantastic. Two bluetooth controllers and probably 3k games from multiple consoles
This dude uses syncthing to synchronizing his files between each retro pi devices.

Speaking of old computers, how soon is too soon to get (toddlers and kids) to use a computer?
My kid started with a tablet and then a computer.
But at what age?
Around three or four for the tablet and then at five for the computer.
