You really can't have a community without a community manager, not one with any traffic, anyway. Something that you might not notice is that we have regular porn spam traffic now. It is continuously eliminated before anyone sees it but there are active attempts to be posting garbage on the site being thwarted left and right. It takes oversight once we start getting SEO. The last thing we want to be is Reddit.

Easy to solved by having trusted community members review posts of new users before they are allow to be open to the everyone.

      Well two problems there...

That's not easy, that would require a huge development investment to make a system able to do that. That's just community managers with another name, that's the same solution that there already is.

Espcially if you go the route of providing a computer or them bringing there own (but really either way it's best) a switcher is the cleanest solution. And they could have it mounted somewhere hidden with wall jacks.

What options do I have? Just a simply 2 host setup. No SAN.

Like @SAM mentioned StarWind two-node setup is free. You can use Hyper-V as a basic OS inside VM to make it 200% free.

For hyper converged offering please kick me PM as we're working on a special offering for MangoLassi people.

The one feature that I really loved with 3CX was the incredible ease of setting up soft phones over a VPN. They do that beautifully.

Should have made it with a 5 port 10gbit router + sexy wifi integrated to get rid of insecure access issues while they were at it

The 5 port switch would have been a great add... I can take or leave the WAP.

Ditto, but I'm picturing the work from home stock broker on a bedazzled ipad grunting and poking at the screen

Yeah an AIO device would be probably the best.

Good point, forgot about those. Most web hosting services do too (assuming that you have one already.)

Glacier, for example, is $0.007 per GB to store and free to download and upload costs $.05 per 1,000 requests, which isn't too bad. You pay to store, not to recover, which is nice.

@anonymous trying add the IP address to your monitoring.

I don't care if the server is up, I care if the site on the server is up. The site can easily be down while the server is still up.

@JaredBusch, exactly - adding the IP to the SPF record is what fixed your Wordpress site as well as the bulk email system (assuming they both look like they are coming from the same IP). No change the Postfix needed.

There is no SPF record for the domain on my WordPress site, you misread that.

ohh... you were talking about two different setups.. yup.. missed it.

Weird that you don't have your messages marked as spam.

I used it a while back when I was hosting some sites on C@C. It didn't support Centos 7 at the time, and a quick glance would indicate that this is still true.

If you are dealing with really high security stuff where you'd rather burn your data than have any risk at all of it being compromised, then I could see this making sense. But nearly everyone needs access more than they need security. This feels like putting yourself at risk of at least issues if not crisis to protect against something less likely to happen.

Nearly everyone I know has lost a phone at some point (broken to some degree.) Or just had a phone die on them. I know almost no one who has had major systems hacked. Both happen often, but one is, I feel, many times more common.
