I do similar, it's always delicious. Toss in a can of guinness and serve with the same.

Guinness with almost any kind of beef is always fantastic. I have a pot roast in my freezer, if this cool weather keeps up I'll be slow cooking it with some of the black stuff very soon. And parsnips (fave root vegetable by a lot).

Hashbrown casseroll for lunch here. Made a huge batch last night (good cool weather comfort food).

I think a roast will be in the cards this weekend. Art has an outdoor gig he is working on at a Craft beer fest Saturday all day (it's supposed to be rainy all day so that will suck).

Hmmm, that sounds good.

Ours is like mixed veggies (from frozen), some sort of cream soup, ground beef, and of course a tater tot covering!

I love comfort food I might have to try that @BRRABill! I can make a gourmet dinner anytime I want. But when fall weather starts to hit I want comfort food!
