I do this unconsciously and will go even without bathroom breaks when I'm on a roll. My brain just seems to shut off all unnecessary facilities until my brain is exhausted or my body is screaming for attention.

My wife hates this. I don't generally eat lunch during the work day. 80% of the time I just forget about it and work through it.

I'm going to cut to the chase lol

              Breakfast: coffee, cigarette, granola bar

              Lunch: water, apple, sandwich

dinner: whatever I made on Sunday to last the week.

I lightly graze during the day so I keep stuff in my desk drawer like peanuts/almonds/etc.

During lunch, I grab a fruit cup and eat at my desk. I don't get paid for a lunch hour so I just work on through. I miss lunch hours that I got at other places. 😐

I usually eat one meal a day, sometimes its lunch, sometimes its dinner at 4:30sih

And yet just this morning that had a segment to show downtime, specifically vacations, are important to productivity.

I don't think there is a special elixir...just how you work is the best way to work.

Wish I could send you a pic of the Womens' Rugby team eating breakfast downstairs.

You would change your mind, they are indeed Champions 😄

Having at least some type of vacation time is a real boon for productivity -- especially for me. I went for almost 2 years before having a REAL, non-working vacation. Now that I'm back, I've already nailed down the final details for one project, and am working the kinks into two more.

I'm on a huge foodie change at the moment.

The biggest change I've made is, getting up earlier, having a substantial breakfast and I already feel way better have 3 weeks of that, more awake/energetic during the day, more productive.

I generally fall into the camp of "obey your body"... If my brain is on a roll, then I'll stop when it finishes or my bladder gets its attention.

I'm the opposite. Breakfast makes me tired all day. And hungry too, so much more hungry when I eat breakfast.

My bowl of porridge with a banana keeps me till lunch

                                      Salad then with chicken/tuna/ham

Dinner in the evening, no more snacking.

Oh and lots and lots of water through the day.

I skipped the wife and it's turned out ok so far.

I am jealous of the dual income though.
