I've heard it's got a ton of promise but it's not quite fleshed out and balanced yet. Apparently still worth purchasing.

@Kelly The cheating and griefing is mostly an abuse of game mechanics and while the latest patches have done a lot for that, the best thing to do is get on a private server and away from the unwashed, asshole players. The server I admin, thoguh do not own (functionally, I do, just not the hardware), has tighter control because I play and I'm the admin and I just don't put up with shit. Aside from that, we have 2 other active players and 2 inactive. It's quiet, and friendly. Lots of space.

X-Com is one of my favorite games of all time. I first played it on PSOne. I even bought a 360 just to play the reboot of X-Com. Definitely going to get it
