Over an hour and a half and still at a crawl and that is an improvement to the first hour

Get off at any exit and use US 70 instead... what, you don't have the alternate routes for most major highways memorized?

Me with an Alaskan Kodiak Brown Bear and a Jackalope at his really cheese gift shop. If I could have found a safe place for the Jackalope and about $250 I would have brought him home with me
