I think it was more a "XO doesn't support" 16, but technically they don't support anything. 🙂

"Support" is always a weird term. Microsoft doesn't support any product unless you pay for extra support. Why do people never worry that Windows isn't supported but are worried that a non-critical web application is?

I tell you what, if other software companies gave as much support as @olivier gives here for his "non-supported" software, the world would be a better place.

If only other companies knew their products as well!

For the next foray into the field of XS...

For those of you running XS, what are you doing about power management?

Multiple UPS for redundant power in case of a power outage. There is a way to get a I believe APC UPSs to work with XS.

Perhaps I should have been more specific.

How are you integrating your UPSes with XS?

@BRRABill this would be how it should be done.

I saw that method, but that requires a physical Windows machine, which isn't really a great option.

I am sure people here aren't doing that. ANd I know people run XS here, so just wondering.

I think I'm going to resurrect my old APC UPS and just hook it up to the network, and use local agents on all my VMs.

But again, just looking got a conversation.

Well, it's only been a few minutes. I'll give it a little time, and if no bites, then I will start a new topic.

I plan on trying the "Citrix ready" Eaton IPM VM http://bit.ly/2etlIs2

That looks like a nice solution.

My Eaton is not network capable, so that would not be an option for me. (Without upgrading.)

Be very curious to hear how it goes though! Keep me/us updated!

                                            Yeah, that would work.

I went with the 5S when I was going to use Hyper-V. Figured I'd just shutdown the host.

But anyway, I have some options here, just like I said seeing what others are doing, or THINKING of doing, even.
