interesting - I suppose since I have one dell laptop in my office I can choose use Dell products.

So I've tried this and basically you run the collector as normal then request the report through the portal instead of E-mailing the results to Dell.
Not had a phone call yet trying to sell me a SAN

When you request you can request the report from someone else other than Dell.

That's what my new portal can let me do now.
I can type in an email address, you get the client download and ability to register, but in theory Dell don't talk to you directly.

Is that one of the reports? Or have you not received it back yet?

My portal lets me view the reports when generated, the customer gets an email to view the same portal results, so that we both get to review the same data.

Are you the reviewer of this data like NTG can be, instead of Dell direct?
If that's really the case and it removes Dell's sales people from the equation, hot damn that's awesome!

In practice? We'll see if Dell maintains that.
