@scottalanmiller Do you think you can make this in your home?

Pizza is meant to be thin

Sure, if you're into crispy cardboard.

      Try Nancy's Pizza! http://www.nancyspizza.com

I love thick crust pizza, I don't mind thin but thick is better, so sad cause there isn't a good GF/CF thick crust recipe that I have found.

You need to make your brother take you to Planet Pizza.

We ate at Pizza Planet once (Disney), but I am guessing that's not the same thing.

@Minion-Queen Have you tried King Arthur GF/CF flour? A good part of my family is GF/CF and goes through it like it's going out of style.

@MattKing I haven't tried it yet. I will have to. All the GF/CF stuff is so expensive and I have tried so many things that just aren't good. I will eventually find a mix I actually like.

@Minion-Queen Understandable, they've all tried mixing their own and eventually after trial and error they just buy the KingArthur or Bob's RedMill since it's consistent. My aunt used to blend her own but she said she wasted a lot of money because things were always coming out wrong.

@art_of_shred no. The words are reversed.

Turns out we had it catered for lunch today.

Pizza is great in parts of the US. NY and California especially. But we have lots of areas with horrible pizza too, like Texas.

                                Why Horrible?

Just not a food state and especially not a place that takes pizza seriously. It's just taken very casually there and no one knows that it is bad because there is nothing good with which to compare it.

I agree with SAM CA does take it's pizza pretty seriously, & I'm not just talking about the California Pizza Kitchen. I very rarely buy pizza I make all my own, like this borderline drunken, sloppily made pizza below. Don't worry all drinking was done under the supervision of the dogs you can see a paw below the cookie sheet, & I'm a professional at holding a pizza almost in a sideways way, so don't try this at home..I think.! But now I know what I'm having with my beer tonight, maybe pics depending on how many beers.new pizza.jpg

I've had pizza in Las Gatos and it was amazing. The best pizza in the country is the Mohawk Valley, though. I've never found any region with such serious pizza.

Nice looking pizza @J1MM3RT, I take it you make your own crust too? looks mighty thin...just like my wife and I like it. Going to have to make some this week I think. Last time I used the grill to cook my pizza.

@technobabble - I do make my own crust, that one in the pic would be with Bob's red mill GF variety since one of my friends can't eat gluten. Came out pretty good but I'm not that good cooking with GF flours compared to the normal full O' Gluten kind.,
