Not really. Content was very hard to find when I wanted it, there were these loud intermissions on every channel every few minutes. Not easy to use at all. Much less so then clicking a button and instantly having the content you want without crazy loud breaks.
You mean commericals..... "loud breaks" that is one way to describe them... the actors need to pee too, they literally live inside that small box on your wall...
Following that to its logical conclusion- they are peeing inside there too!

That's what causes TVs to wear out so quickly. The vents in the back are for the evaporation.

I don't want to pay $150 for a tv tuner and DVR.
I don't need all the other features. I just need a tuner and DVR. I already have ways to stream all the things.

Just break down and spend the money to put an aerial antenna, and a motor to turn it if you want to get really fancy. You should be able to pickup a good number of the local channels you'd otherwise miss that way. If you're close enough to the transmitters, you might be able to get away with an indoor model. You'll save tons of money in the long run.

A usb dongle and a laptop set to never hibernate/shutdown. Your choice of software to make it work, lots of options available.

I have to find some kind of all-in-one easy to use box...the misses...enough said.

Stick 60172 in there to see my current selection. My old house was in 62234. Both had decent selection.
