Who's getting a new phone in 2016?

@Dashrender Note 5 came out several months ago. It is sealed with no SD card slot. It would be the 6, rumored for this year's release that I am interested in.

@Dashrender I have not heard anything about the sealed/sd card aspect- I have seen 16-core CPU, 30MP Rear-Facing camera/16MP front, 8GB RAM, 4K 6"+ flexible screen, coming in 32,64,128,256GB versions. I doubt most of it is true, though.

Not quite that easy. The connectors are underneath the internal plastic shield, so tiny driver tips are called for. Should have everything I need besides a battery tho.

The flex screen thing seems hilarious to me. It seems unlikely that the circuit board that holds the components will be all that flexible, so does this really matter?

I may or may not get a new phone this year. I got my Note 4 in the Summer of 2014, a few months after moving in here... Note 4 has been awesome. The thing that sells the phone for me is the decent stylus that comes with the phone.
I'd probably consider the Google Nexus line of phones if I don't like what the Note 6 is going to be... But really, I need to start having problems with my Note 4 before I consider upgrading. It seems to be rock solid for me.

My contract is up for renewal this March, so I'll be getting new iPhone then. Wife will get 6S or 6S plus, I'm hoping Apple releases 6C by then. I hate big screen phones.

I'm surprised how much I disliked big screen phones before I had one and how dependent I am on it now. Coworker had a 4inch iPhone that I got my hands on yesterday and felt like I was in the stone age.

I had a Galaxy S4, friend bought the Note1 - I made fun of him.Today I have the 640XL and am considering the 950XL Lumia.

I had a Galaxy Note and a Galaxy Note 2. It never seemed to big for a pocket or for my hands... to be fair I'm a bigger person so that may have something to do with it.

yeah I too wore a StarTac with a belt clip! Though my Lumia 640XL does fit in my pocket, so no phone holster right now. -

I have no idea how a billion 4 foot Asians in skinny jeans carry 6 inch phones. Even crazier how people are going to use the new iPad.

I loved my Scottevest hoodie, wore it through most of college. You could stuff a water bottle, tablet, smartphone, keys, and about 20 other things in those pockets and still looks like you were carrying nothing at all.
