Silly article but it drives home my point as to how silly it into use a laptop instead of a desktop.

I will have to check my MBP battery as it has been acting really bad lately. I do cycle mine, but I have never checked the battery status itself and it is getting on in years.

I'm anal about batteries. Mine tend to last a very long time.

I run my iPhone and iPad down all the time. My laptop, not so much.

Always my laptops too. Very careful about it.

I cycle my batteries on everything once a week at least (except for my phone that I end up doing at least twice a day).

Yeah, I need to be more careful about my laptop. It cycles at least monthly now, but it is not intentional.

I will have to be super careful now that I am using multiple tablets and my laptop (which is connected to my desktop via synergy). The temptation to just leave the laptop stationary most of the time will be there now.
