Gaming - What's everyone playing / hosting / looking to play

So I played a bit of Rust last night on a PvE server, and the operators configured the settings so there is no challenge at all to the game...
I suppose fighting a bear or wolf would be a challenge still, but my I picked up a pumpkin and had 8 pumpkins, I chopped down a tree and got something like 4000 wood.
I'll probably find a low-pop server and play there, the challenge is in surviving. Not being spooned everything to build...
I know it's different in 3D and stuff but I really loved co-op in Don't Starve Together. Even trying to survive together is difficult.

I only get mad when the kids fool around instead of playing the game that they are making us sit there to play.

Finally got some Rust progress going on, I was able to hide away well enough to get a small house going, and setup some basics.

I've slowly been getting really bored with video games and about 2 weeks ago I just naturally decreased the amount of playtime until I eventually just stopped playing altogether. I actually have no desire to play currently, unsure why. I've been reading a lot and building stuff on my home server in the mean time.

I go through spurts of that myself. Sometimes you just have to stop and pretend to have a social life or something. Then I snap out of it and spend 8-12 hours playing on a Saturday or something.

It's kind of like--when I was a kid you hung out with people to just be around them and have fun. Now it seems like everyone is just concerned with being the authority on something and waiting for their turn to speak. It's not a fun way to interact with people and I've devolved into dreading in-person conversation now unfortunately.
With that said, I find myself being dissatisfied a lot. I'm not sure what to do about it in general.
